Founder of “ideas en luz”, independent lighting design practice.

Victor’s personal philosophy of design consists in creating unique lighting ambiances to transform spaces in the benefit of people.

Design projects include several national museums in Mexico; Art and Science exhibitions; urban spaces and colonial monuments.  His firm is involved recently in commercial projects with urban impact; hotels and convention centers as well as high end residences.  In 2013, the project “Centro” for a new school of design and the project “Universidad Panamericana Workshops” are two of the main tasks in his practice.

In the profession field, he has been President of the IES Mexico Section; volunteers at the Membership Committee and the Credentialing Task Force of IALD and contributes also to the Latin American movement EILD.

He is a frequent lecturer at lighting courses in Mexico and has been speaker at Lightfair, Enlighten Americas, EILD and PLDC.
